So, how do you prove to employers that you can contribute from day one, especially if you don’t have work experience yet? We’ve got you covered.

Weeks 2 to 5 are all about building a portfolio that speaks for itself—one that showcases your skills, experience, and ability to make things happen. You won’t just be sitting in a classroom watching videos. You’ll be working on real-world problems, collaborating with your peers, and gaining hands-on experience that employers actually care about.

Here’s How It Works:

You’ll be teamed up with other explorers, and together you’ll develop a business plan that solves a real-world problem. Think of it as your own mini-startup—this is where you’ll put your skills to work, from brainstorming ideas to presenting your final project.

Each week focuses on key aspects of a business to give you exposure and real-world insight into how things work:

• Week 2: Vision, Mission, Values – Get clear on your company’s purpose and what it stands for.

• Week 3: Sales & Marketing – Learn how to get the word out and bring your idea to life in the market.

• Week 4: People & Operations – Understand how to run a business smoothly, from managing a team to handling day-to-day operations.

• Week 5: Financial Planning – Learn how to manage a budget, forecast your business needs, and make smart financial decisions.

Here’s the Twist

No tutor or program lead will assess you. Instead, it’s your fellow team mates that will provide feedback on how well you’ve demonstrated the following key employable skills each week:

• Communication –How well did you listen, interact, and present with your team this week? It’s all about connecting, sharing ideas, and making sure everyone’s on the same page.

• Teamwork –Did you collaborate, share the load, and pitch in? Teamwork is about being helpful and contributing equally to get things done together.

• Problem-solving –Did you get creative, come up with ideas, and work to solve challenges? Problem-solving is about thinking outside the box and stepping up when things get tricky.

• Driven to deliver –Did you show up, keep your promises, and get things done on time? Being driven means following through with enthusiasm. There’s no room for free rides, you’re here to make it happen, not just tag along!

With daily coaching, you’ll learn how to stand out from the crowd and take real steps towards getting hired. It’s not about just sending a ton of CVs —it’s about strategically networking, making a killer impression, getting referrals, building industry exposure and confidently landing a job you love. We’ve got your back every step of the way!

Each day kicks off with a group workshop, where you’ll learn a new job-hunting strategy and get the chance to practice it, and nail it in a safe and supportive space—before you take it out into the real world and start seeing results.

On top of that, we’ll have one-on-one coaching sessions every week to work through any challenges and personalise your next steps. Plus, we’ll be there with plenty of encouragement, guidance and support to celebrate how far you’ve come and cheer you on as you crush your goals!
